Former Liverpool centre back, Joel Matip, is the most likely candidate but the list of players currently without a club includes the likes of Memphis Depay, former Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos and Man Utd’s former striker Antony Martial

I thought i read a post on Hummels going to MLS possibly with Marco Rues on LA? I like the idea of Depay as an attacking option, proven international player with lots of experience. Ramos I like the experience and knowledge don't know if I want 38 year old knees in the club. I think the roster is just about set. May see one more addition. I would be surprised to see 2.

re martial i was reading the other day that it took him a while to come to grips with the tactics but as he was starting to click he broke down in injury
our attacking fluidity is the last thing to get right under lop as a lot of the tactics has to cascade to that point, kudus will actually play in the half spaces with bowen, both closer to fullkrug where he'll do maximum damage, but we weeks possibly months away from that
re mavros v city i think he was there for the crosses, lop was baiting city to the flanks by leaving them wide open
seems like he was right, they created nothing from the flanks despite all the possession there, all goals conceded were through the centre of the pitch
Be happy with matip not used to having a full squad with moyse thought the limit was 13! Love the channel
I wanted ings to go, but now he's still here maybe the traditional two up top big man little man combo with fullkrug may be the way to go when we're chasing. Sacrificing a holding player, ings build up always been good when he's had minutes it's just been the net finding a problem.

Possible random thought but do you think Tommy Soucek would be useful as a back up CB? I wouldn’t like to see Alvarez at CB as I see that as a massive waste of his talent.

People can't help but get excited about names of the past. Last season, everybody kicked off at the merest suggestion of signing somebody about to turn 29.
Geo, imo, Matip would be the only player worth risking. He has had a decent injury history. In saying that, we are DESPERATE for a Martial esk type footballer. He is better than Antonio and Fullkrug.

Guilherme and Luizao need to be given an opportunity. I've watched Luizao in every u21's (I know😢) match this season and the guy looks EASY on de eye.
