The sheer undeserved hate he gets from rival fans who hate City is insane.
After winning the 23/24 league title, Rodri criticized how Arsenal parked the bus against City, not moving out of their own half. Rodri said that Man City don't have a similar mentality and that is the cutting edge between 1st and 2nd place.
And when I went on social media, people were making fun of him and randomly targeting banter at City as well, completely ignoring his point. The most logical comment was 'even City would love to get a draw at the Etihad'.
Yes they would, but they would try their best to win that game instead of parking the bus.
Also got a lot of hate for his comments on the Ballon D'or. Honestly I respect him for making such a brave comment, usually a media-trained Premier League player isn't that bold.
