  1. This is why you dont put a youtuber with no common sense on radio. Kick the ball away, yellow card. No grey area. Rice was stupid, knowing he was on a yellow … giving the referee a decision to make

  2. 1. Veltman dives & kicks the ball at rice.
    2. Rice touches the moving ball out of his path.
    3. Veltman boots rice in the leg.

There was no free kick to be taken and all game the ref was giving everything in Brighton’s favour.

If you wanna argue that its the law and it was a second yellow card offence then lets just remind ourselves that this is the same ref that allowed Joelinton to close line the keeper to delay play and done absolutely nothing about it.

He’s a disgrace and the sooner we all start seriously talking about the PGMOL match fixing the sooner we can get a fair game for everyone.

  3. You cannot take a free kick with the ball rolling… First veltman rolled the ball and it hits the back heel of rice simply means the ball wasn't ready and it's sure out of position where the incident happened…
So it's obvious he was just trying to infuriate Rice!
    Common sense applies

Let's see what happens to the rest of the league games if this rule will apply at all times

  4. When the Brighton player gets fouled he takes the ball and push it 5-6 yards to where rice is and takes a quick freekick with the ball moving. The ball was moving as well.

  5. Rice went down in bloody stages lol That was a yellow card, they were told if you kick the ball away in ANY way when there's a free kick, you get a Yellow Card. End of discussion. Rice should have been smarter when he got the first yellow and he was the one that was in the way of the Brighton free kick in the first place which is ANOTHER yellow card offense!! So either way, he's getting sent off!

  6. Some people literally should’ve speak on Football 💀💀💀 he couldn’t kick the ball because riced moved it? 😂 what happened to free kicks being taken from a dead spot!? Law this law that! The laws are contradicting each other and ruining the game!

  7. Well did he apply the law correctly and in the spirit of the game? Did the referee enforce and allow the player time to be the appropriate 10 yards from the ball at the taking of the restart? Was the ball static at the time Rice made contact?Did his actions display visual or verbal dissent? Did he actually delay the restart by his actions? Was the referee proactive in preventing the incident? Why no action on the opponent of Rice who clearly kicked out, using the missing ball as an excuse? Why earlier in the game when a player booted the ball away from the scene of a required restart was no action taken?

  8. Talk sport wow get some people in who understand and know about football ffs this is the worst thing ever 😂😂😂😂 replace cundy too he's clueless you can't even call what he had a career its more of a an embarrasment….get someone to run this who was atleast successful in the game of football

  9. If he got a 2nd yellow for delaying a restart then i accept that. The problem is
    1) why didnt pedro get booked in first half for smashing the ball 40 yards away delaying the restart in the first half

    2) the ball was moving so he couldnt habe restarted anyway

    3) the ball was 6 yards in front of where the foul was so cpuldnt have been restarted anyway

Also this cant be proven but he was taling a quick free kick and smashing that ball 40+ yards if he connected. Well there wasnt a single brighton player in arsenals half so henwasnt really taking free kick at all(very clever play) but ref should see that

  10. Problem is all players try and stand in the way of a free kick, now Rice should have been aware he was on a yellow card and got away from the area, he just gave Veltman a chance to do Rice, and Ref had no choice but to send Rice off. Regarding Pedro kicking the ball away, Ref saw that player being frustrated of the ball going out of play, and remember there are extra ball on the side line ??

  11. The amount a yellow card that is going to be given for decisions like this and the amount that is not going to be given, fans will still be complaining that the refs are not consistent…
