  1. Rice knew what he was doing, let’s not be naive, he stood and didn’t make a real attempt to make space for the free kick, his eyes were looking down at the ball and cheekily pokes it. Anyone who has played any sort of semi competitive football has had teammates and opponents who’ve done exactly what Rice did. Now is the calling and booking of these offenses consistent in the Premier League? Definitely not. However when players are booked and sent off for silly things like this I have very little sympathy. Rice was a captain for West Ham and a fully experienced England international, he should’ve known better end of story.

  2. Arsenal and Artera had a chance to get on this train last season after the horrific off side call in the LFC – TOT match and they didn’t….so enjoy it coming around.

  3. The big problem is Pedro did the same thing earlier and didn't get a card or anything, either Pedro has to get a card too or the refs have to let it slide with Rice like they did with Pedro.

  4. Deserved, if the delaying part was exaggerated or wrong there is no reason to act as if Veltman kicked you and I believe the second booking is for simulation.

  5. This was a good result for Arsenal this Brighton side beat United only last week and for Arsenal to get a point with 10 men was excellent.

  6. When I watching the game I did not think for one second Rice was going to be booked. I literally had to watch the replay several times to see if I missed something. And I would say the same if it was any other team.

  7. We were cheated!?? I mean don’t be bias or anything. You two play for Arsenal? The rule is there dummy. Happens to hit his toe. He looked down. You two have lost any shitty credibility. Cancel these two.
