  1. I keep watching it to see where Rice kicked the ball and all I see is it bouncing off his heel just before Veltman kicked him. Weird. Brighton fan, so I'm not complaining

  2. Complaining about the referee or did Arsenal underestimate Brighton?
Considering they were the home team , did Arsenal create enough chances?
Two years ago Newcastle were the surprise team. Last year it was Aston Villa. Maybe this year, it's Brighton.
Already 2 points behind when City are just warming up.

  3. Love seeing Arsenal drop points but genuinely, how was that a second yellow against rice? Not even trying to cause an argument I genuinely don’t understand. Diving maybe even though he got booted in the leg?

  4. The lightest tap of a ball gets a yellow, come on πŸ˜‚. Where’s the referee discretion. Seen far worse things happen to a player already on a yellow before receiving the second.

  5. If rice booted the ball away time wasting then maybe a yellow card, not a second yellow and that from rice cant be deemed as time wasting the ball was still there, terrible officiating

  6. Second yellow card means off kicking the ball away results to a yellow card πŸ˜… cleary seeing comments regarding the sending off you don't understand the rules of football πŸ˜…

  7. This is shocking refereeing. I suppose the EPL is fond of creating such controversies to boost publicity, bad publicity is still publicity. What a shame.

  8. I assume these highlights didn’t show everything in that sending off otherwise wtf! I can only assume it was a second yellow before the defender drew attention to himself with that very late attempt to tackle πŸ˜‚.Thats what makes it look like a harsh decision with the apparent victim seeing red.

  9. The referee was not watching the incident to be able to see someone throwing the ball on to Rice. However, watching the game, I think Arsenal suffered from lack of concentration for the equaliser. That ball was played in very easy. The other thing I saw is the clinical striker that was needed but was never bought. Yesterday I saw the need of a center forward when the game was stretched. The coach might disagree
