  1. The line "we've only one 1 trophy" and then going on to say we're england and on the same level of Germany Italy Spain is the delusion and arrogance tht stops England winning anything

  2. What a stupid argument! We tried 2 foreign managers so we shouldn't try that again??? Maybe we picked the 2 wrong managers for the squad we had at the time. Maybe it was a personality clash? Maybe it was the wrong formation and tactics for the squad? It's well documented that Capello was the wrong man for England and Sven wasn't much better. You could have the same attitude about Englishmen. Hodgson, Taylor McClaren didn't work, even Southgate, Robson, Venebles and Hoddle didn't win silverware so lets not hire an Englishmen since there been more English managers that have failed than 2 foreigners? No club would have an attitude of ruling out entire nationalities because of a couple of unsuccessful managers. England should get the best man for job. Period. Some foreign managers are loved by the English because of their work in the premier league.
If we have the chance of signing someone like Pep or Klopp next year over Potter and Lampard now we should interim and wait. That's how Greece won the Euro's with a German manager. Montella is doing a great job with Turkey and Martinez has been decent with Belgium and Portugal. We're not the only nation with a dirth of top mangers.

  3. I am from sweden. I think you must take away Kane as team captain. Let Pickford be captain and never give Kane such time on the pitch. He can play last 20 minutes instead. He is only good within the nine meters area. He is not good at all. He is only good taking penalty kicks. I will start with Palmer. He can take penalty kick. He does that in Chelsea 100 %. Was Kane injured or something. He looked very tired on pitch.

  4. English fans are bottom of the barrel. Haven’t caused a ripple in 50 years before Southgate but he’s a failure 🤯

  5. Spain won with a Spanish manager, Italy won with an Italian manager, Portugal won with a Portuguese manager etc. The reason we can't say "we don't need a foreign manager" is because we can't assume we produce the same quality of coaches as the other "footballing" nations. "We shouldn't need a foreign manager" makes sense, but the onus is on the FA, the nation and the institutions to provide that. England is obsessed with grass-roots, so let's look at it from a grass-roots perspective, and not on a "are they English?" perspective

  6. Yes you english people seem to think that a manager is the only thing that influences a team's performance. Instead of holding any of the players accountable , you pile all the blame on one man and his "tactics". Also , somehow every English football fan is a managerial expert when it comes to England and the way they should play, even though they do not even have a second of managerial experience.

You boo your own manager and then you expect to win the competition. It's so blatantly obvious that the problem lies more in the media and the fanbase than any individual in the team. I hope you enjoy another 55 years of failure! Keep on making your players and coaches lives miserable and see where that gets you…

  7. Nearly a week after the final and I'm still baffled at the set up he used – he saw how using a box midfield against Holland worked so why the hell did he revert back to the formation that he used in the group stage? he should have just gone for it in the final…
