  1. Sad sad sad. Fuckin drunk drivers. Devastating…still so young. All cars should come with a breathalyzer test to start the car so these tragedies never happen again. Now his kids will never know their dad…1 year old and 6 months old. My heart is broken. I cant even imagine what his family is going through. They were there for their sister's wedding TODAY.

  2. I woke up to the news and came right to your channel. I know that had to be a tough one for you to put together but thanks for hanging in there and sharing the news and your thoughts. RIP to Johnny and Matthew. Prayers and good thoughts to the family.

  3. His sisters wedding was supposed to be today, Monahan was probably so excited to play with his best buddy again, his wife and kids now have to cope with the loss of their dad💔

  4. Feel really bad for their sister. What was supposed to be a happy day for her and both families has now been overshadowed with loss. Whether the families decide to go on with the wedding or postpone it until the shock and pain of losing two members (can't see them postponing it when it's just a few short hours away, but when two siblings are killed just hours before it will be difficult emotionally to continue on) settles over and they eventually recover emotionally from it is up to them. I just want to see them make the right decision at the end of the day.

  5. He still had work too do because of that despicable drunk driver is unforgivable he destroyed his sister his wife they can't never get the love rip Johnny superstar God be with you🌹🌹

  6. Thanks to Top Shelf for a quality presentation of the situation! The heartfelt emotion is obvious and I consider this to be a sincere delivery of feelings and emotions!

We all must realize, whether we are sober or not, the world does not revolve around the individual. The world should have complete disdain for this type of situation!😒

  7. The reporter did his job. He didn't know the family hadn't been notified. He shouldn't be dragged for doing his job. The people who should be dragged are the people jacking up autograph prices and trying to make a buck.

  8. Man you did a great job on talking Johnny. So dam sad for the nhl. Thanks my friend for being a awesome person on reporting this fucked up new. He is only looking at 10 years for killing someone. I feel sad for the family. Thanks

  9. Flyers fan here. The Gaudreaus were local boys. Grew up Flyers/Philly sports fans. My understanding is Johnny always wanted to be a Flyer. When the opportunity presented itself a couple years ago when he hit the market, the Flyers had the opportunity to sign him and passed. From a hockey perspective, it was the right decision then and it still is now. The team just wasn’t good enough to go after a high profile star like that. They needed to rebuild. From a human perspective, it breaks my heart that he never got his chance to play in Philly. A dream that will forever go unfulfilled. All the best to his family.

  10. Truly devastating news. I can’t imagine what that family is going through. Especially as they were gathered in celebration.
Good on you to touch on this. I know it isn’t easy. RIP John and his brother Matthew
