Brighton v Leicester, Tielemens was poor and looked bored.
10 mn for tielemens at best and 10 mn for Zaha. Save the cash for milinkovic savic. Mudryk can wait till the summer if need be. Not a priority. We need proven players that can help us usurp city to the title. Felix & mudryk won't win us the league compared to zaha, savic and amrabat/tielemens.
Would Tielemens do better with better players around him?
@paul james i was thinking that when i heard the show with the bit with the viking guy i was thinking when Leicester was wearing there away kit , he gave the ball away on the edge of the area & i think it was similar to the france goal in the wc where they lost the ball high abit of time went by an tielemans didnt track back they score but i can see the point of view also that tielemans was been talked about all summer maybe if you not get your move an you have to carry on playing somewhere although your being professional your performances cant be as good or come in bursts

£20m is cheap , plus its not our money let the club spend.

These same fans will cry when Partey gets injured, 😅 and Lakonga steps in .
The problem is, if Xhaka or Partey gets injured, the only other options are Elneny or Lokonga, then we'll be kicking ourselves for not getting Tielemans, Partey got injured at the tail end of last season and it cost us the top 4 spot. Spend the 20m.
Edu will not pay £20M when he can wait 6 months for free. And as for his performances.. I bet he's just playing frustrating mind games with himself… he twerked hard last transfer window and nothing happened and now he team is down the bottom of the league… Would you play at your best under those circumstances? 12mil max for Tielemans or wait till summer. He's not an upgrade currently but I don't think he's a bad player. Any player would be mentally affected with inconducive atmosphere of the club, no signings and some key players out.

As far as Reiss goes, I hope he’s given another two years at least. Really a shame because he’s committed and is one of us. But nevertheless, goodluck with him wherever he goes. He’ll have some suiters. 😢
Tielemens: 13m max. And knowing we have Patino coming up in 2 to 3 years I’m not 100% convinced on him. I think Tielemens would stagnate the kid.
Arsenal should sign tielemans
Get tieleman+loan to buy felix/vlahovic,its gonna be a good addition to the team..forget milinkovic savic,60 mill++ for 27 years old?no way..build the team around saka,like wenger did when he’s arrived build team around bergkamp silverware will follow..
Been a fan since 1996,after 2006 never really seen a player that exiting like saka even when ozil came + he come from the system and arsenal his boyhood club,so build around him we’re gonna win chip.
Tom personally I would take Yuri tillemans at Arsenal for £15 million tops. People seem to forget what he did to Arsenal a few years ago to us in the champions league I can't remember if he was playing for Anderlecht or Monaco I'm pretty sure it was Anderlecht . We had a decent team back then and he ripped our midfielder and defence apart pinging bowls left right and centre well dazzling everybody with his skills this is one I first noticed this lad he must have been about 19 years old then. Now he's 25 years old and is in a Leicester team that is going nowhere. I personally think he would benefit from being in this current Arsenal side with young players who are hungry plus he would make good cover for granit xhaka if he was to get injured plus is versatile enough to play in a more attacking roll. And finally he has Premier League experience under his belt so he won't need to try and settle in.
What a load of twonks tuning in to you today Tom. Title a s is a snip at 20 mill. Even with 6 months on his contract. We will not get him in summer on a free, too many other clubs will come for him including United and top European clubs.

Tielemans looks lazy and disinterested and overweight. I think teams are put off by his general lack of intensity. To me and I can not base this on facts as I dont know the numbers but he appears to rarely sprint and looks like he just jogs around half heartedly and coasts by on his exceptional technique. There has to be a reason he remained at Leicester when they made him available for such a small fee in the summer. Chelsea are short in midfield, Liverpool resorted to loaning a injured Artur, City spent 50 million on a injured Philips and so on and all ignored Tielemans.
Tielemans would be good on a free but I’m not sure about wasting resources on him, you asked for specific examples of him not being up for it, was he not pulled at half time vs us for walking around and being a ghost? He’s also always the first pulled for the Belgium squad – va Canada we was pulled at half for only having like 3 touches and not tracking! If he free I think he could help rest our 11 via bottom half prem teams when we have a tough champions league fixture! But I’d hope we would have higher expectations for a xhaka replacement long term!
Tom, you've often said that it's not easy to think of midfielders who could come in and help the team now. Tielemans could though. He knows the league and he wouldn't needn't need too much time to adjust. If he's the difference between winning the title and not winning it, he'd be worth £20m.
We should go get Danilo for £25m – £26m and integrate him in to the team and wait to get YT on a free in the summer
