      Monaco was an incredible team. Just remember Thomas Lemar, how top player he was and what we hear about him now.
      Mbappe, Bernardo and Fabinho became better than they were.

      The quote at 1:09 is completely true. “Nowadays people unfortunately look a lot at the goals and assists and don’t look at the game”. This completely sums up the Ronaldo/Messi debate for me. People look at the goals/assists and ignore how they actually play in the game. Yes Ronaldo has the most goals of all time and he’s a spectacular player, but when you actually watch the two of them in the game there’s a huge difference. Messi can run a game from midfield, he can play on the wing, he can play striker and he can dribble past the best defenders in the world. I admire and appreciate Ronaldo’s talent and work rate and think he’s the second best player of all time but I think Messi is just better. I think anybody who appreciates the art of football and sees the magic Messi produces will agree and I think people who read off the stat sheet and don’t actually watch the entire game won’t agree. I’ve always looked at it one way. Ronaldo does the things that other people can do, but he does them better, and Messi can do things that no other player can do. As good as Ronaldo is I just can’t put him above Messi. Messi is incredible
