Mark my words right now….Veiga is a gem of a player, he has got a bit of a persona and character about him. Reminds me of a young Rudiger. He will be one of the buys of the season. He can play LB or Central midfield but I believe he will naturally fit along side Forfana. Colwill will get exposed soon at centre back, and Maresca will put Veiga next to Forfana. With Tosin as back up.

Completely agree regarding how Chelsea are treating players they want to sell. The potential for a hugely toxic atmosphere at the club. There ate friendships in the club between players in the first team and some not. And what happens to those not in the first team you don’t sell? That toxicity remains festering in the club.
Rory talks so much sense. Chelsea have a long history of self-harm, but this ownership is so bad it’s criminal they were allowed to buy the team.

These two are a great advert for ensuring your pundits either have played the game or have some background/qualification in sports journalism or broadcasting. Honestly their football knowledge outside of their respective clubs is woeful. Van Persie won the golden boot in 11/12 for ARSENAL scoring 30, he was factly the best ST in the EPL at the time United bought him, he then went onto to win the golden boot again with less goals (26), there is no comparison or parallels to be drawn with Ivan Toney.
