Sexy stuff. I really like Deki in that role but can we imagine him starting there in the big matches? I still think Maddison would be preferred for his range of passing. It’s a tricky circle to square because Deki’s clearly (to me, if not to Ange) better than Johnson right now, and in better form. But I think Deki has demonstrated that he’s not really that effective at right wing in Ange’s system, or at least isn’t what Ange wants there. So what to do with him? I feel he deserves to be worked into the team but hard to see how we do it with our current set-up.
