Well, I guess it's clear he can't play in our system, he needs Inter's counter attacking style of play
Easy to say in hindsight obviously, but he shouldn’t have left Inter. They were a match made in heaven and he could’ve become an Inter legend.
Basically, fortunate deflections in the buildup for about half those goals. The other half, his teammates serve it up on a silver-plater and Lukaku has the strength to get a shot away.
Certainly, his move to Chelsea was WAYYYY TOOO MUCH. Plus, he is up against actually world-class center-backs who can counter his one-dimensional abilities. Moreover, at Chelsea, he is tasked with doing a little more during the buildup, where he can't.
It’s not about Lukaku PL defenders are just not rag dolls like the techie Italian defenders

I wonder about Chelsea, what's so special about a Lukaku being bought so expensive? just relying on a big body, the goals are also ordinary. his level is indeed in Serie A, he can't compete in the EPL

He is a proper target man.. he's meant to hold the ball in the centre while his teammates make their runs Inside through the wings where he passes the ball directly or through the holding midfielder and then runs Inside on the far post to convert from the pass from the winger…
This is perhaps why it didn't work for him at Chelsea.. chelsea game is fast in the forward line..he can't dribble or beat defenders like how havertz or pulisic can..
