Barcelona should've used Griezmann in this manner after they lost Messi. Instead of spending ridiculous money on new players only to get knocked out of the CL group stages, it would've been so much better to use Griezmann properly.
Whenever Griezmann puts on the France shirt he is a monster. Has been since the 2016 Euros. Him taking on this new deeper midfield role has been superb and his defensive work has been shocking tbh. Man of the match in both the quarters and semis. If France are to win, he needs to be France's best player.
