I never understood his signing for City, it was the strangest signing I've seen Pep make & I commented it on here at the time. Not a Pep type player at all, nowhere near good enough on the ball.

Very smart form Ipswich signing a English international on loan, and yes he's low on confidence but this is a big win for him. Play lots of minutes regain his confidence and maybe work his way back to city or the England setup, if not he can always push for a big move next summer.
He's errors leading to goals for west ham was much more that one… Trust me I was there, it was more like 4 or 5
