He's agreed to join newcastle, wants out. Parish has possibly shot himself in the foot with a player who doesn't want to sign for them again.
Newcastle should walk away. Play them at their own game. Go to the press and say they would love to sign the player, but the chairman won't be reasonable and if he was to run down his contract, Newcastle would welcome him with a nice sign on bonus. I wonder how parish would react to that.
Maybe he would learn that doing business via the hack media isn't the right way to do business.
