Josh Maja scored a hat-trick as West Brom came from behind to beat QPR 3-1 at Loftus Road in their Championship clash on Saturday.
His two headers, and a close-range shot in the 26th, 51st and 65th minute, propelled the team to a come from behind victory in their season opener.
The 25-year-old Maja has been capped once by the Super Eagles, he came on as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Ukraine in an International friendly in September 2019.

Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare scored his second goal of the 2024/25 season to give Genk a 3-2 comeback win over champions Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
The 23-year-old scored in the 83rd minute as Genk rallied from a two-goal deficit at the Cegeka Arena to secure their first win of the new campaign.
Danish winger Andreas Skov Olsen scored a brace to put Club Brugge in front by the 60-minute mark, but a penalty from Jame Steuckers brought the home side back into the game.
Arokodare soon drew them level with a thumping header before Slovakia’s Patrik Hrosovsky completed the comeback in the 94th minute.
