In today’s Webby & O’Neill YouTube video Tony & Kieron O’Neill discuss Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag’s comments on Man United captain Harry Maguire.
Erik Ten Hag said on Maguire “I can only back him. I’ve been asked many times if he is good enough [to play for me] and it is clear he is good enough to play at the highest level. And then it is up to him to show that confidence on the pitch and he didn’t show that in all the games [for Man United]. When he is playing with his confidence like now, he is a massively important player for us and that is what everyone expects. That’s what Harry expects from himself. He has that high standard, he wants to play at the highest level, and he wants to lead the defensive line, so it is up to him. I’m sure he has the potential to play in our style and fit into our system.
“When I choose Rapha it is nothing against Harry,” Ten Hag stressed. “Sometimes it is because one player is a lot better than the other. But I think I have two or three good players there in the right center-back position.”

Harry did well for England because England played nobody teams at the World cup or lost. The world cup starts at the quarter finals to get to a decent level. That's not how the EPL works.

Maguire is done at Utd as a first team choice. He'll have to be satisfied as a situation substitute if he's not sold. Far, far too slow for Ten Hags blueprint
Harry slows the build up from the back does the same with England. If Harry could quicken his passing from the back, he maybe could still make it at United.
He is good in the Air against teams that play route one, but his pace is his downfall, but I'm afraid Harry as a player looks far to lackadaisical has only one gear 1st gear.

As for Harry Maguire he played alright for England and sometimes you wonder where has that been.
