Barcelona confirmed on Thursday an agreement with American food service company Aramark for the sale of 10% of Barça Vision, which will cover the missing payment of €40 million from a previous deal with German company Libero. This new agreement is key for Barça’s finances as one of the many economic “levers” used by president Joan Laporta during the club’s financial crisis. The missing payment from Libero now covered by Aramark helps Barça to close their 2023-24 accounts without any losses, and allows them to operate within La Liga’s 1:1 rule and finish their pending registrations.
