West Ham United are closing in on a deal to sign Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui. West Ham have club and player agreements for the Morocco international in place, with the proposed transfer advanced but not yet done. Manchester United retain an interest in the 26-year-old but West Ham are ahead at present. Any deal for United would require Aaron Wan-Bissaka to depart. The right-back, 26, has turned down West Ham and favours a move to Inter Milan — this summer or as a free agent when his contract expires in June 2025. An idea that would see Wan-Bissaka go to Inter and Denzel Dumfries join Manchester United is being discussed by intermediaries, although that possible switch is not advanced as things stand.

#ManchesterUnited #WanBissaka #Dumfries

  1. Dumfries is sloppy and was lucky not to be sent off in two of the Netherlands's games at Euro… not sure this is a solution

  2. There's no style of play, conceived or yet to, that Wan-B can't/wouldn't excel in. This notion that he's not good offensively is hugely flawed and lacks real analytical base. He has excelled offensively at MANUTD. If Haag doesn't want him, fairs.

  3. Doesnt even make sense for inter. They will be playing on the front foot so to swap awb for dumfries seems like a downgrade. Weird deal. Hoping we can get in the market for frimpong

  4. Wan Bissaka will go to Inter if that is the case an turn out better. He is the best one on one defender. Yes he isnt great at attacking but he is damn world class in defending.

  5. we shouldnt sell bissaka, he really is one of the best 1 v 1 defenders, if not the best. And thats why he can be a valuable backup at our club. He always does the job against a topclass winger

  6. Dumfries: Its been a while since I've seen highlights of him, but when I did (when we were first linked to him a year or two ago), he impressed me. I like what I saw of him going forward and I liked his physicality. I think we know what were getting with AWB. A player who is really good at tackling, has incrementally improved his game going forward, but too small of increments for me. I think when he came back from injury last season he seemed a yard or two off his pace and I can't remember for sure if he ever regained it by the end, and that scare me since if he loses or continues to lose pace, not only do we lose his progress going forward, we run the risk of him losing what made him great – by losing a yard, that could have an impact on his ability to tackle. I also think his incremental progress has been too small.

Dumfries on the other hand, and admittedly this goes on quite a bit a faith here, It feels to me we are going into a season where ETH isn't going to be afforded to be nice and there we will see a more ruthless side to our team which could bring out the best of our team. I feel these dutch coaches and this situation and him being new could bring the best out of him and revive the rivalry that was created for Dallot two seasons ago – while Dallot had a fantastic season last year, I felt he lacked a little bit of that competetive edge that the previous season gave him and feel that could come back in full force this season.

@StephenHowson Maclaren – IDK Ste, I get why you say it feels like a demotion, and it could be, but he's old and experienced enough to be confident in himself and I would not be surprised if he was the one that suggested to ETH to take the two new coaches so that they have time with you and with the team. That being said, I could see a situation where ETH said to them that he needs to have someone stay back because of players who are on special training routines or whatever, but I really don't see this as a demotion or him even being told – my money's on him suggesting it.

  7. I see a trade involving AWB making sense, if we think he’ll leaving this summer or next.

If he leaves this summer, the fee will be minimal and we’d probably have to spend more to replace him, eating into the budget.

If he leaves next year it I’ll be for free and a replacement would be even more expensive as there’s nothing to offset it against.

A trade now means no expenditure and we get a new player with a few years on the contract. Which means you could potentially sell him for more than you would’ve sold AWB for this summer

  8. Moyes has left West Ham. They’re trying to he a progressive team under Lopetegui. AwB doesn’t suit them I think that was more media

  9. I would take dumfries over mazaroui. He is talker stronger faster and has a much better injury record than mazaroui.

As long as wanbissaka goes either is better as far as a more complete and consistent rightback.

  10. Always been a dream of mine to go to America. Since I was old enough to remember. And to do it in whatever capacity with Our beloved club.
Totally jealous of ya right now butt.
Truth is, cuz I’ve been a wee bit naughty in my younger years. And for a horrendous and disgusting group of people. Led by a trans. Who hates men. But wants to be one. This person and others are near my age and mid 30s year old. Starts fights with men. Walks like Conor McGregor or Vince McMahon. When men like me.ivnore them and think they need to grow da fook up!! But cuz we do nothing. There ego and Narcissism grows. Cuz they think we’re scared.
1 day they screamed the worst names and things you could call a father.
Or a Man in that respect.
I was in shock!!! And when I finally stood up to them. Called there bluff over there threats. They did nothing.
But cuz I told them that I’d be calling the boys in blue. They beat me to the call and told some unbelievable and unforgivable stories. Long story short.
My name has been tarnished and my family dragged through hell. Let alone myself. But don’t know why I rambled on then guys??? My Bad!!!!
I think the point I was making was I’m jealous and I’m no longer in a position where I can go to the USA…EVER!!!
But if anyone wants to hear my story.
    Holla at me.. god bless.
Thanks Ste for the content. You’ve become my number one watch on YouTube these days
    GGMU!!!!

  11. People who really know football…
    Do not underestimate AWB.
I’ve been watching football for best part of 35years and not being biased here. But AWB is probably the best 1v1 full back I’ve seen. They used to call him the Spider šŸ•·ļø right??!!!
Some of the performances and the wingers can’t get past him. World class players in his pocket…
But truth is… he’s a low block defender. That operates at his best I reckon. In a team that has to defend alot. Not known for attacking. Let alone attacking fullbacks..
So a team like West Ham. Maybe Fulham.Everton. Crystal Palace again.
He’s served us with distinction and upmost professionalism and I want the best for the player… but….but….
No player can be bigger than the club and we must do what’s best for us now… Things have to change and so far lately.. we are seeing change and positive changes. We are UNITED!!!
Say it like Gerard Butler in 300!!!
    This is Sparta!!!!
    This is UNITED!!!!
    WE ARE UNITED!!!

  12. Awb is one of if not the best one on one defender out there, there not many that can do what he do. The only aspect of his game that was lacking and not totally lacking, but not fully effective is his offensive treat, but there was room for improvement and honestly he's still young

  13. Honestly. We need to be focused on a cdm. If a swap happens. Great.
The Bayern player that should be coming is De Ligt. The more I watch of Ugarte, the more I want him in our team. Wanna see Mainoo in the no.8 role. Or to see if he can be a deep lying playmaker??. We need that progressive player. Who will break the lines. Pass or play through the midfield allowing Bruno to operate in the areas where he’s best.
