Havertz has everything but a clinical edge infront of goal, he cannot kick a ball in anger to save his life, you are not always going to be able to score tap-ins in every match, sometimes you need special.
Every time Arsenal have come up against low block teams that have a decent midfield, they've dropped points and lost the title twice in a row.
Man City have an answer to this problem – a battering ram of a centre forward who can just bully defenders and more importantly who can slam that ball in the back of the net no matter how frustrating or tight the game is. That man is Erling Haaland – Arsenal need an answer to that.
That is why Man City came back from behind twice to win the league and Arsenal wobbled in virtually the same fashion.
They need to match Man City and get a CF that give no s**ts and scores when they look like they're going to lose.
Too many of Arsenal's players get jelly legs in those pressure situations, they need a killer CF and that will bridge the 2-5 point gap, just that alone.
Also, experimenting with Havertz in central midfield in the first half of last season is what arguably cost Arsenal the title, it didn't and does not work.
For me, Arsenal have not appeared to do nearly enough so far to bridge the gap on Man City, they're not suddenly going to beat Man City with virtually the same squad as last season., bearing in mind City missed De Bruyne and Haaland for most of last season too and they still came back from a deficit to win the league!
I'll happily bet any online Arsenal fan £20k right now that Chelseas £40m midfielder Cole Palmer scores more goals this season than Arsenals £65m "world class striker" Kai Havertz does
