What's blatantly obvious here is, be it 9 points in a row or 3 sets in a row, Zhang Jike WILL win when he wants to. You just can't ever count him out!

What do we care about the audience at this moment? Table tennis is also a duel between two persons, and the handshake tells us something about them and how they went through it
