Tom got great results from hard work and dedication. The hard work might be too much in the future – what do cardiologists say?
Medically, I understand in theory at least, there should be no reason why he can’t play again. Psychologically, will he be up for it? Not sure I would!
Tom has nothing to prove, needs to step away from the playing side for his family's sake. He could make a great coach or ambassador for the club

He has said he will do whatever his surgeons say. He was or is in Amsterdam, I think, to speak to them. If he is going to play again, I'm sure he will only come back if he can be to his old level, and he will know that. Im sure we will find out soon.

I feel the time to step down and move into coaching. Lewis could you do a video on Carlton Morris, should he go or should he stay. What does everybody think about him? Should he move on?
Absolutely spot on that we almost missed his leadership and organisation as much as we did his defending. This is why I think we have messed up by not finding a replacement for him. I felt Osho/Mengi/Burke were a decent back 3 last season but there was something missing, and that something was Lockyer. He was the glue that held everything together and we have never replaced that. Appreciate not easy to do so, but RE has had the whole summer to find a commanding vocal centre half, and hasn't. That to me is a failing of our pre-season.
Get him on the coaching staff.
Terrible decision letting Osho contract run out & not signing a replacement. Osho was class. Not learnt from Naismith error.
