Springboks are deservedly the current yardstick in world rugby, should win easily, but also have little to gain by dismissing a fundamentally lesser opponent.
Wallabies are showing positive signs, but objectively are currently in the 2nd/3rd tier of the world pecking order. A competitive loss for the Wallabies would be almost a win (though only a win is a win). An odds-defying win would be monumental – daring to dream 🤞
