Senegal International Ismaila Sarr has returned to the Premier League as Crystal Palace confirmed his move to the London club from Olympique Marseille for £12.5 million.
The 26-year-old signed a five-year contract that will keep him at Selhurst Park until 2028.
Sarr scored 34 goals for Watford in 131 appearances in his first stint in the Premier League, before moving to Marseille.
He has also made 64 appearances for the Teranga Lions of Senegal, and has scored 13 goals.
Germany international Pascal Gross has joined boyhood club Borussia Dortmund from English Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion for an initial fee of 8 million pounds, which may potentially rise to 10 million with add-ons.
The 33-year-old returns to Germany on a two-year deal having spent the past seven years on the English south coast since he joined Brighton from German club Ingolstadt in 2017.
Gross, who is Brighton’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 30 goals, departs the Amex Stadium with 32 goals and 52 assists in 261 appearances across all competitions.
The German was Brighton’s first signing after their promotion to the Premier League in 2017.
He scored the club’s first Premier League goal in 34 years in a 3-1 win against West Brom, a game in which he scored a brace, and was integral in helping them secure their first-ever European outing last season.
