Ha! They were favourites a year ago too after getting "missing piece in the jigsaw" Lukaku. Finished a whole 19 points behind the winners and 18 behind the runners-up. Chelsea are a good team, but it's time to face up to reality: as far as the league is concerned the gap with City and LFC is huge. They haven't finished above 3rd or even challenged for the title at all since winning it under Conte 5 years ago. The closest they finished to the winners was 19 pts in 2021 and 2022, that's is nowhere near the level required to be champions.
Can't say we would win title.
Our back line may not concede many but our attack is where we still need to strengthen as last season we were missing chances to win games.
