  1. Thats just life in the depth at Manchester City. Most those guys even those you dont see often because off form should be starting every single game.

  2. Alvarez a top player, he deserves to play every week. He has won almost everything, when you don't start every week it's harder to play good he will only get better playing regularly.

  3. I kinda understand what Stevie is saying but my take on it is that Alvarez should go on loan because as of now it seems like KDB isn’t renewing his contract so when Alvarez comes back next year he will be a starter

  4. I think players should keep their goals regarding the club private. They don't need to overshare to the media because it creates misunderstandings. Talk to your manager, agent, and the club. The media are not entitled to this level information

  5. Dan has the wrong mentality on it. This is a team. It does not matter what Alvarez thinks. Pep is the manager and he will choose who he wants. Alvarez had a good season and Pep will play him when he needs to. It's about the team's success as much as it's about having high morale among the squad. Pep can play him with KDB and Haaland. He can also bench him. He can also sub him on in crucial moments. It's about what Alvarez brings to the team, which is different from the Argentina team with entirely different players and system. Winning Copa and the World Cup is irrelevant, Dan.

  6. Alvarez looks good, because City are well established team. I dont doubt his quality or talent, but he is not up there with KDB or Haaland.

  7. guardiola is being unfair. He benchs alvarez and then is angry because alvarez want to go to a team where he is first choice. Absurd from pep

  8. It's astoundingly simple: De Bruyne faced a similar decision almost exactly a decade ago in Chelsea when he was on the verge of breaking into the first team. He chose to move on and here we are. Ɓlvarez is facing a similar decision at City (with a proven track record on that team, I must add).

I think he should stay: De Bruyne himself might move on from City after this season and JA might actually get roughly the same amount of playing time this season, progressively taking more responsibility in games of vital importance.
