US Soccer is in trouble. Going into this summer’s Copa America, they hoped to build confidence before co-hosting the next World Cup in just two years. Instead, they failed to qualify from a group comprising Panama and Bolivia, teams ranked 32 and 73 places below them in FIFA’s World Rankings.
Granted, even the best teams can suffer shocks at major tournaments. However, the real issue with the USMNT runs deeper than just their unexpected early exit.
In this video, we’ll delve into the many problems of the USMNT during the Copa America, expose the flaws in their system, and examine what this could mean for the future of their national team.

10/10 analysis bro
Good analysis of US soccer. But you forget another one. There arrogance from the players, media and their pundits. And they does come off as disrespectful to other teams. This why when they lost to T&T and Panama. The rest of the world does laugh at them.Cuz they kinda deserve it.
Well for starters, your awful league structure is following the standard US sports franchise system, which DOES NOT WORK with football (as an entirely global sport) at all. And it's not entirely grassroots level as well, it's mostly very corporate, compared to other clubs from other leagues around the world. Once you people actually fix your league system (with an actual standard promotion/relegation system), and have natural grassroots level football clubs/academies grow in your country, then maybe you lot can actually improve at the sport in a few decades at least. But I highly doubt it.
American football team cant even beat San Marino…
