  1. No disadvantage, no advantage either I reckon. Nobody really considered this after Bordeaux's demise. But it was obvious if they went down in the last position.

  2. What will be will be. I still think this is out of our hands Troyes will dictate the tune we dance to. We can only stay or split. I still think that 3 million is the ceiling at which we stay.

  3. As per usual, top video and reporting pal! 👍🏻

I'm in the same camp as you are, mate.

If anything, I think this makes a deal easier on both Troyes and the Wednesday side of the deal, Troyes aren't as skint as they thought they were, so you'd have thought as you said they would lower the asking price for a player that clearly wants to come to Wednesday, this in turn will save us the cash to pull this off, as well as the Kaba deal (if it is us that have bid), then our strke force will be scarily good!

Keep up the awesome work pal, I'm sure I speak for 99% when I say we all appreciate the videos and work you put into them, mate 👍🏻

  4. If they've frozen him out of pre-season then that seems like a bridge that's not going to be mended. So I don't think it changes too much. They'd made 30 odd mil this window, so if they were going to keep him they wouldn't have frozen him out (he didnt play against chateauroux the other night either). They want to sell, they're just playing hardball on the fee. It's just about who blinks first now.

  5. If the bid for Kaba that went in today was from us, I think you can take that as evidence that Danny has given up for now on signing Ugbo. It may be that the price was too high, this reinstatement of Troyes to League 2 may have been a factor but whatever, at the very least a bid for Kaba might just be a very emphatic HURRY UP! to Troyes if they still want a deal. Reading between the lines, I think Danny wants his squad together a.s.a.p. and I also suspect that Ugbo or Kaba is a strictly binary choice – we won't be signing both. Or then again I could be absolutely wrong…

  6. On paper it should be an easy deal which will suit both clubs but who knows fck you Troyes 😂 but sory kaba will be an easy deal mcburnie has signed for them

  7. I don’t think it will make any difference, player wants move so make him stay and you won’t get the best from him, he left Canada squad early as was stressed about the move, so they know he wants to leave. I think the fee is the biggest and only hurdle. They appear miles higher than valuation. I can see us going to 2m but not much higher might have some add ons, who knows. Trouble is I don’t fancy any of the options up to now.

  8. Gud start to the transfer window bt things seem to have gone a bit quiet at min ugbos club going to price us out of a deal even tho he wants to return to us supposedly chansir n his staff done great in this transfer window he's back the manager so let's hope he coughs up the money for the one big signing he sed he was willing to do

  9. If a player wants to leave, he wants to leave. I can't imagine Troyes' reinstatement in Ligue 2 would make much difference, if Ugbo's mind is made up. I also can't imagine Troyes would want to keep hold of a player that they know doesn't want to be there. And I don't really see how this development would change any valuation of the player.
I suspect this will just play out as it would have done without the reinstatement. Just wondering how much more time and energy we can invest in the situation. I would imagine the club are looking elsewhere for alternatives, and probably have been for some time.

  10. Fed up about ugbo now , I don’t think Troyes knows what they want , and if ugbo wanted to come back , he would be telling them Sheffield Wednesday or I’m staying, he’s no messi , over priced for seven goals , we need to move on and if someone else wants to pay 4.5 million for him , good luck, I look at it as ugbo needs danny more than danny needs ugbo, it’s danny that got him scoring and in fine form,
