Bad pform
That was one of the worst and most embarrassing performances of the season. We were outplayed almost all game and way to many offsides and way to many defensive errors which cost us and Pearson was very lucky to not get sent off. And sluga was probably our best player and was keeping us in the game and Morrell is just the new Butterfield at this point. I know we are safe but we still need to be putting in good performance as we could still drop in the league.
You cant just blame Nombe for being offside. Adebayo and Cornick was constantly offside. We bypassed the midfield first half. We can't pass for shit. Pearson was appalling. Weak for the first goal and as for the penalty, shocking. Need to go back to basics.
As for Morrell. Whats he done in any game he's played in. He defensively poor. I agree he does have an eye for a pass but thats not enough.

Convinced morrell has offended NJ in some way. We are crying out for a change in midfield, pelly was poor again today.
Barnsley too good for us! We should finish lower table & lots of work to do in the closed season. Worrying that NJ doesn't know his best team.
Totally outplayed at home is not acceptable unless we are facing Man U or similar playing full strength. Several midfielders were way below their best, notably KDH and Mpanzu. Not only where is Morrell when is Moncur. No need to panic but we need a change in midfield. With Bradley back maybe there can be room fir Morrell/Moncur. Final note, though not mt favorite by a long way Vollins took goal well and maybe it will be a good boost to his confidence
Yes, I know that we are better off this season than last, in regards to points tally. But how come I don't feel any more confident in our team, like you would expect? It doesn't matter who we put in, there are continually the same problems with not being able to score, and sloppy defensive errors. Getting so predictable
Dewsbury Hall is tired and it shows! Without him we are very very poor .Awful team selection and for me NJ will never take us forward as a team ! If he is not going to make use of Moncur why bother to have him
on the bench ??? Frankly Nombe is at best a div 2 player
Slug's has had a great season. One off mistake. Followed by great reflex save. Midfield dire. Looked uncomfortable from first minute. Pearson's mind looked like it was on the beach. At least when Collins came on he showed he cared and got a well taken goal. I get why Jones likes Rea but time for a rest. Definitely use Morrell. Dunno what's gone on behind the scenes but if Jones looks to play his best team why match after match is he being left out? Final comment, it's appalling that a team of professional footballers get caught out so often with offside. Sloppy thinking
Dead right. We've been struggling all season to keep possession.
An aggressive, high-press side simply bullied us. And, when they got the ball, could handle it.
Nombe got a chance and imo hasn't got it. Was lost.
Morrell must be given a run. Why pay decent money and not play him all year in any meaningful way.
He must be totally pissed off.
So play him and he'll want to prove a point and look decent if he puts in a transfer request.
Don't quite know what NJ means by going back to the 'tried and tested" ; they were the culprits…
Our success was built on raiding wing-backs. We haven't got any now.
Cranie/ Pearson can't do that Bree's gone backwards and Clark was too busy to attack much.
Naismith is a liability as a left back. But really good in the centre. So why change it? And give their bug bloke the freedom of the Kenny?

Great Video Lewis. Matty Pearson and KDH look so tired – did not even realise that Pelly was playing until about 40 mins in. Pelly was responsible for mistakes early in both Barnsley goals (look at him walking back for the 2nd goal!). Morrell is an international player as was Moncur in his early days. They should be the first names on the team sheet each week! Collins showed everyone what to do and stepped up by scoring a good goal. Bradley showed good Captain Leadership which Rea never does. Kal Naismith performed well again – performing well for us like CCV last season. At least NJ said he would have a big shake up this next game. Wycombe are like Luton last year and have good games sometimes so, we cant take it that a win on Saturday is a foregone conclusion.

You didn't play badly. You were just outplayed. Our high line you will be offside a lot. With our press you will make mistakes. Bigger teams have struggled with us. Good luck for the season. I do like and respect you guy's.
