It would be a big move for a US soccer player to spearhead the attack to a top club in Europe. This would be a great thing. USA players typically downgrade from their positions in the attack. So this is a very high praise for Pulisic.

The idea Pulisic could be considered as a 10 shows just how desperate Milan are at mounting an effective attack and finding some solution to control their midfield. They are outclassed against teams who have a number 10 because he can distribute the ball, relieve pressure and s begin attacks. Pioli tried this for 3 games and the experiment was so bad that they quietly moved Pulisic back to the right. Pulisic is not technical enough, isn’t able to distribute the ball well enough or even know how to move off the ball in that role to be even a little effective. If they try this, it will fail. No one outside of Milan watching Pulisic says he should be a number 10… no one.

They’re talking like Pulisic didn’t make a name for himself at Dortmund at RW. That’s the position he played his best football when he was young. Chelsea turned him into a LW but he was a lot more inconsistent there and now they’re trying the number 10 at Milan. I think he’s a versatile player but after all these injuries a change in his playing style, maybe CAM would be a better fit
