In what was supposed to be their title defence, the Azzurri narrowly avoided elimination against a mediocre Croatian side, only to fall apart in the worst way possible against Switzerland in the Round of 16.
This disastrous performance has obviously left the entire football world with the impression that they’re finished for good, so in this video, we’ll dive deep into the reasons why their EURO campaign was a massive failure, why they’ve been in a constant state of decline for the last 18 years, and, in the end, I’ll give you my opinion on what their future might look like.

I agree with this video, but come on they won the Euros in 2021, it hasn't been that long since they were good.

What untold its so obvious why they took this result 2 decades past italy didnt raise any a class player in any position except few exceptional their big teams not in the european picture anymore they cant raise good players even defenders so there is no baggio zola vialli mancini signori del piero totti vieri etc its very mormal result if thief infantino not make 48 teams world cup im sure they wouldnt qualify next world cup to they have big problems as germans
