  1. England should get stevie g, paul scholes, wayn roney, lamphard, paul merson, jaimmy carrager, gary neville, and big sam . They have got enough choices.

  2. If you don’t watch the games, you’d think the record speaks for itself. But his true legacy would be how to play ugly bereft of any creativity and positivity, and somehow eke out a win based on luck and individual brilliance.

  3. Good decision, it will save him from overwhelming criticism.

However, all these young players getting into the team only happened because he started this culture, in previous managers squad, they would stick to more or less the same team.
Giving chances to the young players (except few exceptions) will be his legacy.

  4. Gareth Southgate shouldn't of got the job in the 1st place ..WHY ?.🤔..you may ask ! …well the powers that be @the FA have very short memories aswell,…
Gareth missed a penalty for England then did a TV Pizza 🍕 advert on the back of it along with the other 2 clowns in Chris Waddle &;Stuart Pearce who couldn't convert from 12yards in crucial games for England ..profiteering which is in my eyes a no no ..just shows they didnt have any loyalty to England only their bank balances

  5. Spain did not humiliate England. Gareth Southgate did not have to resign. He has not been a failure with the Three Lions. Football is not going to have a good name if even a narrow loss cannot be accepted. I cannot understand why a gentleman manager has allowed to leave.

  6. England losing is not Southgates fault. He tried his best to train and inform England players what needed to be done, what mistakes have happened and what needs changing, what goals and targets need to be met, most of England players are confused or unaware they are in a pitch or stadium in front of millions.

  7. Gareth Southgate was an absolute gentleman throughout his tenure as England manager. He took the high ground all the time and restored the pride in English football. He also stood up for his guys when it really mattered (remember Sterling & Mings abuse in Bulgaria in 2019). Back in the day we used to say "we're through to the last 8 – we've done well". Now, if we don't get through to the semis, its a failure – did we have that belief with any other manager after Sir Alf? Yes – I know we didn't win anything in Germany but we have a pool of players that can do it in 2026. Has anybody seen Jurgen Klopp? Step up mein Herr – you can ingratiate the whole country now, not just Liverpool

  8. Before Southgate’s arrival England had won only seven knockout games at tournaments since 1966. The team won nine during his tenure. That's all you need to know. Thank you Gareth! 👍

  9. The best manager the world has ever seen! How he kept losing matches & back to back finals! Something that has never been done before! A true legend to the game, the one, the only, Gareth Fartgate

  10. Worst decision in English football history after not employing Brian cluff absolutely mental he has done so much more than anyone in my lifetime I'm 36 and he has had me loving England for the first time since euro 96 he is brilliant
