  1. As a Japanese living in Australia, seeing Kazu, Ono, and Honda playing in the A-League was fantastic. The way the league is going, the old days of marquee signings are a thing of the past. I'd love to see a player like Shinji Kagawa play here though.

If the APL was smart, they would tap into the Asian player market and bring more players from countries like SKorea, China,Thailand, Vietnam etc. who are not only cheaper, but have a lot of young and exciting players who can bring in new fans from the Asian expat community in Australia…..So tired of seeing the A-League waste millions bringing in 35+ y.o. players from Europe who are wayyy past their prime and prone to injuries (remember what happened to Nani and Daniel Sturridge recently)…..
