Celtic are sitting on record amounts of cash and with the new Champions League format being more financially rewarding than ever, we NEED to improve our squad to compete at that level.
For this post I am going to assume that Matt O’Riley will be sold for around £25-30M this summer and I am going to give myself a budget of £35-40M (€40-47M).
Here are SIX realistic players Celtic should sign to improve the STARTING ELEVEN this summer to help us compete in the Champions League…

We need a left back, a centre back, a defensive midfielder,a homegrown midfielder(likes of Lennon Miller or Stuart Armstrong somebody to fill the quota for Europe, this is alongside getting a deal tied up for Bernardo), at least 1 winger ideally a right sided one, and 1 proven striker (Idah ideally butmiovski would fit the bill also. Plenty of options out there)and ideally a young striker who can play across the front line(Kvistagarden who plays for brondby would be perfect can play across the front line). That’d be my list and it’s not exactly beyond us to do that.
Satriano (Inter) or Kvistgaarden (Brondby.) both better than Idah.
