Is he serious?? Martinez should be sacked for allowing Ronaldo to play the entire time without contributing anything to the tournament. Ronaldo’s time is up. I hope he never plays another match for Portugal.

no wonder the last portugal coach was sacked. he had the balls to bench ronaldo when he wasn’t performing well. they specifically brought this guy because he’s a yes man and wouldn’t dare to bench ronaldo no matter how much poorly he performs. as long as ronaldo is playing full 90 min for portugal against proper teams, portugal will always be at a disadvantage
Time for CR7 to retire. Coach did not have the guts to sub him off for Jota when we needed to win the game before penatlies. His reign is over. Obrigado CR7 for everything.
Tbh Martinez 1000% did the correct thing by not dropping him , for one very important reason. It’s allowed us to see the goats decline and the washed up level he’s at 😰. When santos dropped him and Portugal were getting beat, it was the elephant in the room, as if to say you could have won with Ronaldo on the pitch. Including his fans and delusional family who made a massive fuss.
In this instance Martinez did the right thing. He gave him the chance, like ok look show me what you got, silence the doubters,! multiple matches, multiple chances at goal.yet not one goal. He had 13 shots at goal I believe in that Slovenia match 💀This truly signals the end for arguably the greatest player ever. It’s sad but his team should advise him to call it a day for Portugal.
