I think he will be in the 1st team soon. Major upgrade to dan james. I have a feeling james will be sold in January to make profit out of him. Even traore is miles better than james. It makes no sense to keep james who has no football intelligence.
He is not a winger but a no 10 (playmaker) playing on the wings. He is talented and with a good coach would probably get closer to Messi. He needs to study Messi very well and can be a good replacement or substitute for Bruno.
