The players needed a structure to play a man down, he made no subs and so the players were fending for themselves not sure the best way to defend, this is what a good mgr would do in a situation like this, get the right guys in, calm the squad and make sure they understood what needed to be done the remainder of the game. The players are partly to blame, but so is Berhalter. And how about preparing your team for the cheap shots and extracurricular stuff so we wouldnât be a man down.
