  1. People are sleeping on Mount… addicted to "the new shiny thing" … if we get Ugarte or other DM, he can play at his natural possession. Fans are fickle, have forgotten just how good he was at Chelsea. Personally, I'm excited to see him remain fit and show his ability.

  2. I am not a Chelsea fan. Definitely not a big supporter of Mount either as I rarely watch his games. But as a United fan, I fail to see how we can judge his quality when he has only played a handful of games for us so far. All of which we know he hasn’t been fully fit for. I want a decent sample size of games I can use to judge his worth.

  3. If this man gets injured again then we better sell him asap and not stick with him till his contract expires. He and donny van de beek are 2 signings that confused most of the fans. We didn't need either.

  4. Mount is pony should be nowhere near the first team complete waste of money on what was at the time the most overrated player in the league

  5. Jack of all trades, master of none. That's Mount for you. He is a roaming, positionless midfielder who is best when the focus is NOT on him where he sneaks around, similar to Donny but a tad bit hardworking. Imagine if we didn't spend 55M on him, that's money could easily been used to sign Neves and United are set for the future.

  6. Problem players like Mount at MU, we have so many players who just do not get into the game, never on the same wavelength, generally very low IQ as a collective.

  7. Mount was supposed to be the number 8, but that injury created a hole, but Mainoo took the chance that was given. and now we have a great selection of 2 decent number 8's to rotate between and choose. Then with Ugarte, we can have 2 decent DM's. and same in the striker position. Love to see it

  8. Good player but he doesn't get in passed Bruno or Mainoo and he's not gonna be a 6 so he doesn't play unless it's in rotation

  9. Really looking forward to seeing Mount play this season

A successful squad needs about 16 players who can all genuinely expect to be in the starting XI. Mount is one of these. Finally looks like United will have proper squad depth this season

  10. Good look. I also think going without an out-and-out #10 and playing a Mount-DM-Mainoo midfield is an interesting possibility. That potentially can well well with Zirkzee where he can drop deep

  11. Mount has not been playing in the middle of the park isnt it? He likes to drift around, seems not very strong tactically. I seem to only recall him playing off the right when he was at Chelsea. He’s out of football far too long to have any kind of recollection
