The scapegoating and blame game is already starting, but Ade was absolutely right on. His eyes are opening, he's seeing through the bias that so many Englishmen can't. The English players are not superior.

When we gonna realise that international football is a completely different thing to club football, to play in a team of player that are drilled together day after day to work in a system of patterns and connections is not the same as time to time playing internationally with players from different teams with different/no real pattern of play

He would be a better CB than midfielder. He used to be a CB, he's brilliant defensively but lacks a midfield brain. His passing is poor let's be honest, and lacks mobility.

It's close, but I think Rice is better than Rhodri. Rhodri gets more game time as he is always first on the team sheet for Abergumboil FC but I have to say on the whole Rice pips it for me.

Well said Rory, I think that tournament showed the difference between quality CDM’s vs Rice.
Zubamendi for Spain came on for Rodri and was heads and shoulders better.
He was very poor, very little line cutting passes, only seemed to play it backwards or side to side.
We simply need to stop hyping up these English player's.
Especially on the international stage and to stop playing all our best player's at once together.
How about picking the right player's for that position.
