  1. The Best Euro was in 1984. Some brilliant games especially the semi final France 3 – Portugal 2, Platini, Tigana, Jordao et al, what a game that was

  2. I think we can all agree that the EUROs didn’t really live up to the hype because given the expectations and excitement surrounding this tournament, I was disappointed in some of the top teams and the way the players performed. There were so many boring games, full 0-0 draws and some of that is down to tactics; teams doing everything in their power to not lose with a pragmatic approach, due to the long and grueling seasons they had where they played so many games, the fatigue and tiredness kicked in with the players, some of them went into this tournament playing with an injury not fully fit and performed below expectations failing to replicate their club form from last season not to mention that many of the big teams apart from Spain and Germany weren’t that impressive to watch.

6 players won the Golden Boot with 3 goals, the top scorer of this tournament was own goals, any team that finished 3rd place was lucky that they managed to get out of the group. I mean, it’s unexplainable to me how France made it to the semifinals of this tournament while scoring just 1 goal from open play, as boring as England played, they were lucky to be in the final since they were placed on an easier side of the bracket, Portugal who have a lot of talent; at times weren’t all that good either, had 3rd placed teams not been able to get out of the group, Netherlands wouldn’t even have made it to the semifinals, Italy are one or the worst defending champions we’ve ever seen, Croatia’s Golden Generation finally came to an end, and Belgium didn’t have a lot of expectations yet still managed to underperform. Other teams who had less talent on paper played great football and gave the bigger powerhouses a run for their money and did better than what people expected of them: Slovakia Slovenia Georgia Turkey Austria Romania etc, even Ukraine got eliminated from the tournament despite having 4 points. One of the only positives about the EUROs is that we saw different players rise to the top and are ready to make a mark on the game and are set for a big money move now that this tournament is over and some of the weaker nations did very well, the EUROs part of it didn’t deliver apart from football winning at the end of the day since Spain were deserving winners of this tournament since they were a level above every team from day 1.

  3. I watched most of the games, and the biggest reason for the boring euros to me is the clear adoption of PEP man city style of play. Teams like England, France & Portugal only played attacking football when they started loosing. They weren't direct enough. They were to scared of losing that they weren't scoring goals

  4. English team are just too cocky to win anything , one example is the keeper , he was mocking van dyk post match. God won’t let u win if ur that arrogant

  5. The British Bubble. We r already on olimpics 🇪🇦 and world cup Gavi Baldé Badjetic BryanZaragoza Riquelme Barrios Cubarsí Huijsen Veiga NicoGonzález Mosquera Omorodion Moleiro Fermín Baena Sancet…

  6. Ramos cannot start infront of CR7 because he is a 1/10 player. We've seen it in the last WC and at PSG. He is not consistant at all so find another argument please!. But worry, his time will come and you will see how inconsistant he is.

  7. Disappointed with the Azzure's performance at the tournament but it was a good quality on show. Hopefully in 2 years time the WC will even be better

  8. At the start no many would have predicted Spain considering Portugal,England and France have a more well rounded squad …

However,as the tournament progress Spain become better and better and
The BEST team that played with the BEST football won!⚽️ …Congratulations Spain 🇪🇸!

Austria,Switzerland and Germany have also played some very good football…

Overall, it not been the most exciting Euros like the past down to maybe a packed footballing schedule with
Unecessary friendlies mid-season/nations league/expansion in the amount games and increase amount of teams did impacted the quality of the tournament !

  9. Well nobody expected England to win the Euro 24 inspite of all the hype. Spain were excellent and may win the next World Cup. England going to the final was creditable considering how bad they were throughout the tournament. France were disappointing compared to the pre-tournament hype. Germany played well and playing at home was an advantage. Nagelsman has really improved Germany and the team will do well in the future. Portugal also disappointed. Maybe there are better without Ronaldo. Georgia and Switzerland were impressive. Italy were another disappointment. Expected better performance from Italy. Hungary were also disappointing. They could have done better. Turkey were good within their limitations.

  10. Euro 2024 were for me the scandal Euros where refs decided games with bogus calls, Netherlands England being the most scandalous and shameless, disgusting.

  11. It s funny how idealistic the english fans or media can be.
They dream of reaching the football level of the big nations which usually get trophies, but when they face these nations Italy Spain France…they see themselves as small.
England doesn t produce technically high level players such as Spain Italy France, some germans…
They got to the final coz they didn't face any big team.
Specialky when the english compare themselves to a big Sports Nation like Spain ( champions in Football, basketball, motorsports, handball, cycling, tennis , etc etc) , the english dont notice how far below theu are in sport culture.
It might be that England foster Marketing over Sport culture…i dont know.
In football their players don t have quality.
If yhey at least ran ljke the germans ( no technical but they fight)…but the english also have the losing mentality.
    Perfect cocktel to keep losing.

  12. When you look back at a tounament, it is not only the football that matters! Compare the mood and the celebrations of the fans im germany ( or england, france, spain…) whit Quatar…

  13. Morata wasn't offside once in the euro final, which in turn let's u know how deep ENGLAND sat, how far would ENGLAND have got in spains group at euros, then there knockout draws

  14. I am asking myself: Would Jude Bellingham have looked tired or been seen as failing, if he had played for the Spain team? Same with some other English players.

  15. Since 1966, Argentina has won 3 WC, Brazil has won 3 WC, France has won 2 WC and 1 Euro, Spain has won 3 Euros and 1 WC, Italy has won 1 Euro and 2 WC, Germany has won 3 WC and 1 Euro. In contrast, England has won nothing the past 60 years. Yet, going into every tournament, their pundits, press, fans (the deluded ones) still think that England should be winning the tournaments. Fans singing “football is coming home” before they actual won the final, asking Kasper Schmeichel whether he thinks football is coming home for a tournament they never won, claiming that they have the most talented squad [on paper] etc. Neutral/ non-England fans are NOT anti-English, they are simply annoyed with the kind of English arrogance and “entitlement to win”. Football might finally “come home” when England starts to be more humble.

  16. Burley is so biased it is disgusting. Most disappointing combined 11? "Just England players". He says. Hold on, how did Scotland do in the Euros, Craig? They stank the place out as usual, couldn't even win a single game, as usual. Went home early, as usual. Hate England all you want but they played badly and still reached the final.
