  1. Only one man can save USMNT. Last I heard he was living as a monk in the Himalayas meditating and reminiscing about the old days. Yes, I am talking about Bora Milutinovic!

  2. Coming from a German: You just need any decent European or South-American coach, just sombody with a proven track-record of winning (against actually good teams, not Usbekistan) who has a good footballing philosophy and wants to actually coach the players, not be their BFF.

  3. I don't want to give this federation too much credit, considering they are the idiots who got themselves into this situation but their first two actions have been the correct ones.

Any new manager not having to worry about qualifying for the World Cup and getting placed into Pot 1 is massive…and that alone could be a huge deciding factor.

  4. Klopp coming to the US would be a bigger shock than the USMNT actually winning the WC. I just don’t see a top European coach making the switch. Money isn’t everything to those guys.

  5. Highly unlikely we can get Klopp, but we need an international coach. There is no one in MLS that can do the job. We also need players who are playing a lot of minutes, not riding the bench.
