  1. 6 months ago… no. But he has blossemed under klopp, his engine is incredible now an hes added long balls to his game which is what he lacked. He's become a really strong tackler an his pressing game is what we need in cm. I really think we're blessed to have him on the bench.

  2. I think he is a fantastic player
every ball out of his feet
was genius, and rarely that he will miss pass the ball
I think he just need a good partner to play with

  3. Allen is playing class at the moment, but our midfield players are quite average to be honest, Can,Henderson, Milner, Lucas. It doesn't sound like a midfield that can get top 4

  4. Before the Arsenal game people were saying he's not good enough, now that he's scored a couple of goals and a penalty, all of a sudden he's good enough. I personally don't think he's been good enough when you look at his career whilst at Liverpool. You could argue that the whole of our midfield isn't good enough at the moment, especially when the likes of Stewart are performing well.

  5. One month of production motivated largely by his desire to get a new contract does not erase the three and a half years of mediocrity he has given the club.

Not good enough, never was and has had PLENTY of opportunities to prove otherwise. When he first came to the club he had a handful of decent games and guess what happened…#shortmemories

  6. i dunno why we always question him , hes a g ood squad player he is not fuckin shit! , hes the only player along with lucus who can tackle a player and be a pest, we need that for high pressing , hes one of the best we have in that sense .

  7. we havent had a greta season so we question him.. we didnt question him wen we was amazing in 2013/14 .. because he is a good player …. we as a team aint been good so we blame him why the guy can pass , tackle attack …. emre can is good but he loses the ball more often than allen and he gets away with it its no fair

  8. I see Joe Allen as a Ball Winning Midfielder; someone who presses and tries his hardest to win the ball back compared to someone like Henderson who is a Box-to-Box midfielder.

  9. I think Allen is the perfect alternative option to have when physicality is not needed and instead we want to control the game with possession and good passing. For me we need a player like Joe Allen for some PL, Cup and even CL/EL games. He may not be a nailed on starter but he is always up for contention in my books and he seems willing to play that role for the Klopp. I'm sure if you asked Allen would he be happy to stay at Liverpool right now he would say yes. He wants more game time as does every player but I'm sure he is happy with the current situation under Klopp where he starts maybe 1/3 games and subs on for 1/2 the games Liverpool play. Also with the way he is playing Klopp might be inclined to trust him on the bigger occasions too now.

I'd sooner sell Milner, Mignolet or Skrtel to be honest. Allen has a role he fills perfectly at LFC!

  10. Confusion over his position. He's a deep-lying playmaker. Obviously people scoffed at the "Welsh Xavi" or now the "Welsh Pirlo" names, but that is his role. He performs the role that Pirlo or Xavi does in a team – controlling the midfield from deep. So in a way he is the "Welsh Xavi", but obviously nowhere near that quality.

  11. Look at Joe Allens contributions against Man City at Anfield, last two games there. He IS pretty damn boss, and CAN be really good under Klopp given half the chance!

  12. On his day hes 8/10 very good. No joke. Problem is he needs to have physically strong players around him to compliment him. We can easily get a better player but if he continues his decent performances I cant see why he shouldnt stay on as a squad player. But thats a big if.
