I hope Slot doesn't make the mistake to take Dutch players. I would suggest he takes Hancko from Feyenoord and no more. But rumours aren't always the truth. I trust Slot to do the right thing although i have seen some doubtful transfers in Feyenoord as well.
Sepp is still only 22, just one year older than Jarell Quansah. Why not have him around? If he doesn't cut it on the highest level we can easily sell him next summer still.
Neves is also only 19 and possibly not finished growing….. He actually kinda looks like Rodri too 🤗

From what I've seen of Koopmeiners I like him, I thought he performed good against us too, but does anybody know why he's not in the Dutch squad? not even on the bench, but Gravenberch who's barely played is there, and Gini who has basically retired at club level is there
I've been saying for months Koopmeiners would be a great option. He's not world class, but he's European level and better than Endo and Bajetic. Wouldn't cost too much either. People saying he's an 8 have never watched him. He can play 6 better than the options we have.

I still think a Florentino Luis would be a good shout. He had a poor season last year due to being in and out at Benfica, but he could be eased in and trained to play for us. His quality is still there and he’ll likely be a lot cheaper than 12 months ago.
I like Van Den Berg and the reports about his development. Why not give to the lad a chance. If he gets 25+ appearances for Liverpool next season, then perfect he’s our CB, otherwise his price increases and we get a good fee 💷 why not if it means we can invest well at DM, LB and on a Forward

Adeyemi is a hard no. Why have too many people like lucho Nunez and Elliot, carvalho who are good but has no output? We have to move on from this "hope they will develop" type of strategy. Just sign a clinical player instead
Before Bajcetic got injured he looked ridiculously good, if Benfica had him they'd also be asking 100m for him. Don't want an average 6 who will hinder Stefan's progress, would happily take Adeyeme or Frimpong for the right wing. Personally hope Salah goes, don't want his legacy tainted and if he was kicking off with Klopp Slot will find him impossible.
Yes we have loads of 8s but are they all of the same quality, and maybe Slott just doesn’t fancy them in his team. I still have no idea why we bought Gravenberch and Jones needs to improve quickly.

He played at the same level and club as Matip did, then Mainz and, by all accounts, did really well. The whole "not premier league proven" narrative is just silly. He's a top talent. So negative as fans unless it's a signing.
Know what's funny? You'd all say "he might not be at the level," but you'd happily sign another CB around the same level😂

If you had been asked in June 23 whether you thought Quansah was good enough to be a back-up CB for Liverpool, you would have probably laughed. But he was brilliant in pre-season and brilliant throughout the season.
Van den Berg was voted one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga, playing for one of the worst teams. So, he is a lot more prepared and experienced than Quansah was.
Give the kid a chance, and he could be a brilliant opportunity for us. I've looked at a fair bit of footage of him in Germany and he looks a great prospect to me – really good in the air (much better than Gomez); more physical then all of our CBs other than VVD, rangy and able to nick the ball, good tackler, and decent pace. We would be crazy to just sell him now before having a good luck at him in pre-season.
I think van den Berg deserves a chance. And he did well in Germany so he can potentially do well here.
The Bundesliga is not a joke and the Premier League is not the be all and all.

I have never thought of Koopmeiners as an outright 8. Yes he can play there but to me he's naturally a deeper lying player who easily plays as a 6. So I'm not sure why you're restricting him to that position
Also I'm pretty sure we didn't pay as much as £70M for Szoboslai.
