Nunez was seen being punched as security tried to control the chaos. He later brought his young son to safety on the pitch. Conmebol is investigating the incident, condemning the violence. The match, which saw Jefferson Lerma’s goal send Colombia to the final against Argentina, ended in disorder both on the field and in the stands.
