  1. Great stuff as always from Steve and Nekias. 342 is lucky to have them as part of their network. Some of (if not just) the best X's and O's content you're gonna find right now.

  2. Sensational breakdown by both guys, it's really as simple as WATCHING GAMES and taking note of what you see!
Glad these dudes ain't into lazy headlines and hot takes 💯

  3. Look at HB’s game log last year and you will see how many 0’s he put up as a rebounder. He was awful.

The running joke for a lot of the season was Fox showed up, Domas showed up, Barnes and Huerter got some cardio.

  4. If we DON'T trade Huerter, I've been in favor of bringing him off the bench. You MIGHT be able to get away with his defensive deficiencies against other 2nd units, AND he bolsters our bench offense (which is non-existent outside of Monk). I think Ellis "fits" the starting lineup better because we have enough offense between Fox, Derozan, Murray, and Sabonis. Ellis can be our "Doug Christie" defensive guard who can hit the open three when necessary.

  5. When it comes to the Kings' defense: Having a bona fide scorer like DeRozan who can score in isolation when everything breaks down allows Ellis and Murray to focus their energy on locking down the two best scorers on the court. The Kings no longer need 25 or more points from Murray and Ellis, they can get 22 from DeMar and, hopefully, an extra 3-5 from Huerter who had possibly the worst shooting and health of his career last year.

  6. This is by far the best analysis of the Kings that I've seen on the internet outside of the Deuce & Mo podcast. Usually, there's just lame, surface-level bits on other shows, but these dudes legit know their stuff.

  7. Gotta have Malik in that closing lineup.

But it’s matchup specific. Sometimes Keon is in for defense. Sometimes Keegan might be sitting to have Keon and Monk in for closing time.

  8. Duncan you is right – HB was a cone last year and his fall off came fast. DaMar might actually by a tiny upgrade on defense (very very low bar).

  9. As a Kings fan, you guys know our team to a T!! What impresses me is you guys now the rest of the league like that lol Light the Beam baby!! 💜🤍😎👑

  10. I thought kings would be in market for Isaac. Didn’t think magic would resign him for that much. As good as he is doesn’t hold much value for them Orlando specifically

  11. Bucks so conservative always getting very marginal players other high profile teams. Prince solid but they coulda use money to get younger. Beauchamp/ Jackson being held back by doc rivers

  12. Kings fan here, really appreciate the clear effort and knowledge of a team people tend to use low hanging fruit. This is a great breakdown where for once I didn’t feel like the people breaking it down have lazy knowledge of the team. Great episode!! I’m also really interested in derozan 3pt attempts, fox 3 percentage went up with Mike brown cause Mike doesn’t care if you miss take open shots, he’s literally almost pulled Keegan for passing up a open 3. May give derozan that confidence to let it fly more and live with the result… would add Keegan was one of our better defenders last year believe it or not. To the defense point, I believe the last warriors title won they had like the 15 best defense, if you can be elite at offense and average at defense it’s proven to work.
