As a side note, Brazil has a ‘no extradition’ of its own citizens to other countries policy. Just sayin’.
A as another aside, I think I’m OK with Lucas leaving. I certainly wouldn’t cry in my cereal, either mercurial player, and on his day he’s a fantastic boost to the side. But, when he’s not in the mood, he’s a big weight around the team’s neck. And let’s face it, he’s not in the mood almost as frequently as he is in the mood. Plus, we have to shift players out of their best positions to accommodate him. Not saying I want him to go. I love watching him play and I’d love for him to find a spot in Lope’s side, especially if our other stars don’t have to switch positions to accommodate him. All I’m saying is I don’t think it’s the end of the world if Lucas has to go.

The only potential benefit I can see is if he is only banned in England for a year, then he maintains match fitness by playing elsewhere. I don't see us pursuing this. Even if he's found guilty there'll likely be an appeal and he'll be able to play until that's heard and decided
Are there players that we could take plus some cash?
I would have been relatively happy with Kilman at 40mil, if we hadn’t bid Todibo and seemed in with a chance of getting him at a similar price. I think pedigree counts for something and although I expect Kilman to be a leader and help the team, Todibo is a player like Kudus where within a season I could see him being a 65-80 million type player if he can prove it in the prem.

I cant see any Brazilian team having the money to sign him. Why would we let him go on loan when we can utilise him ourselves.

What happens to the FA charge if we sell him now? Can they trial him in his absence or do they lose all jurisdiction and it would be down to the Brazilian FA ? They have already cleared him.
Could this be a way to get away from the charges? We sell for 20mil and/or players but with a 50% sell on clause, next season Flamengo sell him to Spain or Germany for 50mil.

What I can’t believe is it was like a year ago when the FA played the same trick and halted the Paqueta deal with City. Then they did nothing.
And then they’ve done it again, and they are doing nothing.
Either charge him, or stop pursuing the case.

This Flamengo has the money to buy the whole of West Ham, they just aren't stupid enough to spend money anywhere, as Flamengo itself reveals super expensive and talented players.
He would be welcomed home, he was well loved, I enjoyed watching him play and our fans can at least pronounce his name. It's sad that he ended up at Alf Garnett's club. What a fucking shower you are.
