Kane has been terrible this whole tournament, the last game against Switzerland he got no goals, no assists, no dribbles, nowhere to be seen in the box and he made only eight passes in 109 minutes! We basically played with ten men for the entirety of that game, imagine how much better we'd play with Toney or Watkins, Switzerland would've been done and dusted in 90 minutes. It's also boring when people say 'oh but he's scored two goals this tournament' his first goal against Denmark my nan could've scored that, his second goal was just lucky, nothing special just right place right time. As the captain of the team he should be the one to stand up and say to Watkins or Toney, I'm sitting out, bring us home the trophy.
I for one would have Moved on from Kane and Play either Watkins or Toney but I would have took Rashford and Solanke as well for the Euros.
But Kane can still Play but I definitely don't See Him as our Main Choice Striker for World Cup 2026.
England should Promote everyone from the Under 21 Euro 2023 Winning Team into the 1st Team Squad.
But if England are to Win anything in the Future then they have to Start Playing Positive Football.
Kane is a sick joke. Both Watkins and Toney are far more intelligent and therefore better strikers. Kane seems to like defending these days as he is normally found in his own box. Perhaps Southgate should play him at either left or right back?
Kane will play even if he is injured but he is not alone several of these players need to step down but southgate will continue to play a brand of football which makes me go to sleep
We’re basically doing what Portugal did with Ronaldo. It’s like playing with 10 men at times. Anyway, history tells you you don’t win anything with Harry Kane in your team

I don’t understands how it’s hard to drop a player that doesn’t win trophies. It’s almost like a tradition for him.

Kane hasn't turned past the quarter finals in ANY TOURNAMENT
Bayern stopped winning the league when kane joined them. That's enough evidence to prove he is a curse to any team.
Drop him for Watkins then we will be elite with a proper striker who goes in behind the defence which we need and not drop back and hope to feed players who are not even going that far forward.
Ivan Toney has been 100% better
He needs to drop Kane and start toney and Watkins together give the Dutch something to worry about the Dutch defence will not worry about marking a statue

Kane was the Bundesliga golden boot/top scorer last season – 44 goals in total in the League and champions league. He also scored 8 goals for England over the last year. He is 30. He is knackered after a long, hard, very successful 1st season at Bayern. He is only human. Toney should start. He looks sharp and ready for it. Bring on Kane for last 20 mins if goals needed.

Harry kane and Jude Bellingham have played too many games this season, and its catching up on them. But i would still prefer to start them and sub them max at 60 min.
Kane needs legs and runners next to him, look at Son at Spurs and Sane at Bayern. The current system doesn't suit him, but it does suit Foden and Bellingham….

He doesn’t lead from the front – weak, anaemic pressing, barely makes runs for teammates to pick him out, essentially subbed himself off to pass penalty taking responsibility to the young players in the squad, has zero charisma… drop him for toney and bring him on after 60mins.
Nah Harry Kane was always pretty poor for England. He was scoring goals but he wasn't playing well like the Spurs Harry Kane. Sterling was doing the heavy lifting and pundits were giving the plaudits to Kane. Now Sterling is missing….That electricity…nobody even mentions him. Look ALL Englands goals from the last Euros. Aside from Grealish and Shaw down the left putting balls on a plate for Kane. You had Raheem Sterling being fearless. Running at defenders and scoring goals.

We need a striker. At the moment, Harry Kane is playing as a centre-back. When Saka crossed the ball into the box, no one was there to finish. Harry drops deep but cannot make the ground up. If you play Harry, you need two strikers — one as a deep-lying forward, and one as an advanced forward. Harry Kane is playing the same role as Bellingham and Foden. All three are taking up the same space. I'd play Toney and Watkins together in a 4-2-4 formation.
