around there that’s then how do the English referees Craig keep getting top of assments when they’re horrible in every one of them but I don’t think they are that’s that’s I think that’s they were given those games today and I think that’ll be it that be depending who’s in the final we’ll determine where the referee but I think there are better referees unfortunately for at the moment and I I quite liked Anthony Taylor and Michael Oliver but I think when you look at some of these uh other central European referees that are refereed in the Champions League like French but I can’t remember his name french guy did the Man City Real Madrid Champions League looks like Trad the one who looks like TR and the B he only looks like a young guy but he was brilliant and I just and he’s so bad with the league one is he yeah he’s so bad I forgot his name small guy you know yeah and he was somebody was making comments about him say how how good he can be for Champion League and be so bad in the league one you get that we you know you see marinak you see osato you know people who outside of England think they’re amazing and then you’ll see them and they’ll be criticized so it’s just them it’s just the nature of the Beast people a referee isn’t final question which very negative how much of a snoozefest will tomorrow’s Euros be they’ll be amazing England Switzerland you put nil nil       You can easily tell both Ronaldo and Messi’s level dropped significantly when they started playing in Saudi and MLS.
      The football quality in those leagues is not the same. They don’t play aggressive and smart football, players in those leagues are low level and low iq.
      Ya they can get a lot of goals and whatever there, but when it comes to these competitions at this age they look lost. Age caught up with both of them and they’re both playing where they should be playing at this stage of their career. You have to be blind and a fanboy to not see it and admit it.

      Im going to be controversial here and ask two questions

      1. Has there ever been a worse individual international campaign than Ronaldo at euro 2024? (Supposedly a top player, 5 games 0 goals 1 missed penalty, 4838382 free kicks into the wall)

      2. Has there ever been a more disappointing international career when it mattered most? TWENTY-ONE games in the knockout stages of major international tournaments.. 3 goals 😬 i dont ever want to hear about an "elite mentality" ever again when describing a flat track bully against luxembourg

      Honestly I probably am saying that I don't care right now, but as we approach the event, I would care more than ever.

      Here goes:

      I don't care whether or not Portugal win the World Cup 2026 but I really want to see Mounrinho and Ronaldo there for Portugal. One last time. For Ronaldo to gift Portugal a chance. Doesn't matter what his role is or how he plays but it would be really sad to not see him on the squad. I acknowledge that he's declining in his athleticism and all but still….

      One thing is for sure: Ronaldo has immortalized his name in soccer/football history.

      Hopefully, he continues to be on the spotlight in times after Juinor takes over his dad's role and potentially fulfill the world cup glory Cristiano Ronaldo was hungry for which who knows, maybe he wins. Portugal will be on their prime level at that point. With Ronaldo being 41! That is how old Pepe is right now and he crushed it in the Euros. Could it be that Ronaldo sticks up to at least Pepe's current level of athleticism or higher?

      I believe ronaldo wants to probably play in the world cup because of how the last one ended for him. From what i saw today i would still put him in the squad but for more of a supporting role. Coming on in the 60th/70th minute. I believe he will actually be more useful to the team in that respect. Today all i saw was him waiting for crosses in the box which tbf the delivery wasn't that great. In the past he could rely on himself to do things but now he is really relying a lot more on his teammates for service and if the deliveries aren't good then you don't see him doing anything the whole game. His pace seems to be ok but he doesn't seem to be able to beat defenders 1v1 anymore but tbf french defenders are quick as well. If portugal want to have a successful world cup then he needs to take a little bit of a back seat cause it will be a waste of world cup if they do this all over again. On the other hand pepe was amazing. He is the definition right now of age is just a number. Truly amazing performance.

      He should look at Thomas Müller. His main job was to assist the coach and take care of the younger players. He had no. Problem accepting his role

      Many people won’t like to hear this but the only impressive thing about Cristiano Ronaldo’s International career is the remarkable longevity. His goals per game record doesn’t compare to the greats. His performances in major tournaments average at best. Big k/o games, awful.

      ESPN as soon as they get a chance attack Ronaldo. You will never see them attacking Messi although he gets carried around even against teams like Ecuador & Canada. The day Ronaldo retires, all the media houses will be shut down or lose their jobs.

      Out on a whimper. Fair play to Les bleus, but this loss is solely on Martinez's ineptitude, a Spanish double agent if there ever was one. Conceding a tournament to satisfy Ronaldo's ego is straight-up reprehensible. The news outlets in Portugal will be licking their chops at the prospect of bringing in Mourinho.

      Everyone let's just take a moment and contemplate how France is playing in this Euro…A team failed to score a single goal from open play(3 goals in 5 matches, 2 own goals and 1 penalty) reached the semis. This is just ridiculously disgraceful..and all their matches are immensely boring and disgusting….They dont deserve to be in the last 4….

      So odd how CR7 gets blame but walking Messi gets praised. Favoritism at it's best. The Frontline should have always been Leao-CR7-Jota with B Silva in midfield. That is on Martinez not CR7

      Tbh disagree, Fernandes brothers I call em even tho they aren’t related play very poorly in general. Highly selfish players who have good skill but lack IQ, I think that’s kind of hindered the team for quite some time now are those two.       The Qatar World Cup should have been enough of a wake up call about Ronaldo’s decline. Stat padding in a third rate Saudi league and the hype from his fanboys deceived a lot of people. Portugal are wasting an elite squad by catering to a 39 year old diva that still believes he’s the best in the world.
