      A red card in the 18th minute is game-costing.
      If it was in the last 10-15 minutes like Panama's, not such a big deal (as we saw).
      Tim Weah cost USMNT this game.

      All I can remember are US fans making fun of Canada’s WC performance in group F against Belgium, Croatia & Morocco. Fast forward 2 years to Copa America the US gets group by Panama & Uruguay 😂😂

      Second goal was completely on ccv. Fell asleep when the ball was possessed by offense inside the box!!! Unforgivable lapse in judgment. Cannot lose marking inside 5 yards. He cannot see field against Uruguay.

      Shocking that Berhalter blamed the loss on this red card given in the 18th minute. 70+ minutes to play and the USMNT couldn't make adjustments to compete against Panama? Good teams do it all the time.

      Stevie is looking at this decision in a vacuum as far as Copa performance goes. Yes, you could always say the biggest determining factor in the US getting grouped is losing the game to Panama because you were playing with 10 men, and that enough of the result was out of Berhalter's hands that you can't entirely blame him for it. HOWEVER, that ignores everything else with Berhalter – he's tactically inept, not a man motivator, and the best anyone can say about him is that the "players like him". I'm sorry, but that's not good enough, especially not 2 years away from hosting a World Cup. He has zero signature wins, he has ONE win against CONCACAF opponents on the road, his only win against a Top 20 Fifa-ranked team not named Mexico is Iran.

      Berhalter is at best a mediocre manager, he's proven that the best result he can manage is the bare minimum, and he's taken this US side as far as he can take them. This is the perfect opportunity to cut bait and correct the mistake that was rehiring him.

      How many red cards in tournaments have Berhalter led teams had? Mckinnie, Dest, Weah. Its waaaaay too often. Hes also a terrible in game manager.

      To be fair Bolivia opposed more resistance to Uruguay losing 0-5 than what the US will do. The US should just retire from football and focus on something else. Like educating its own population for example.😅
