Lance Thomas of the New York Knicks travels, double dribbles and steps out of bounds but no call from the refs.

  1. This should be so embarrassing for the NBA it's not even sane. I myself have personally witnessed so many travels during games that are not called, it's not even funny.

The understanding that this guy apparently got away with all these rules violations is disgraceful to the integrity of the league, which has been suspect for a long time. This is so bad, I think he actually double dribbled twice.

I bet anything, if I was the official in this game that is visible in this footage, I would be fired the next day. This dude probably still has his job and probably didnt even get a stern talking to.

  2. There are fools like this one at all NBA matches. It becomes painful to watch for a European knowing a little FIBA rules. Travelling, pivot foot, double dribbles… Even children of 6 or 7 years are whistled for this kind of fool in Europe. It is not at all the same sport.ย It's not really basketball.

  3. Lance didn't go out of bounds for one and yes he did get it deflected meaning it's not an up and down and because it was deflected he is allowed to pick up his dribble again without it being a double dribble because of the fact that when it's defected and you get it back it counts as you getting a whole new possession, good officiating on their part the only reason the fans and announcers as wells as y'all on YouTube don't understand that is because you aren't officials and don't know the rules like me and/or other officials.
